Before the thought,
there is the breath.
Education, preparation and integration around 5‑MeO‑DMT and plant medicine, held with care from Middle Tennessee.
The most important work happens before and after the experience. This is a place to understand what these medicines are, to prepare the ground, and to bring what you find back into an ordinary life.
What this work asks
There is a moment, familiar to anyone who has sat with these medicines, when the ordinary scaffolding of a self gives way and something older and quieter is left. It cannot be forced, and it does not need to be. Our part is to make the ground steady enough that it can happen on its own.
Steadiness begins long before anyone lies down. It looks like honest conversations about health and history, about what is being carried and why now. It looks like a physician's caution and a social worker's warmth in the same room. It looks like being told no, kindly, when the timing is wrong.
What happens in the hours themselves is largely beyond our authorship. We keep the room safe, we hold the music, we stay close and mostly quiet. The medicine and the person do the rest, and the less we intrude on that meeting, the more of it there is.
And then there is the long tail — the weeks in which an experience either takes root or evaporates. This is the part most people underestimate and the part we take most seriously. We stay in relationship. We talk. We help the ordinary life that follows become the place where whatever was seen can actually live.
